EXCLUSIVE: Shreyas Talpade reveals the real reason behind Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 5 getting delayed

Shreyas Talpade is an actor par excellence and there are no two opinions on that. From acing comic timings to doing serious roles, the actor has proved his versatility time and again. It has been around 3 years since Rohit Shetty announced Golmaal 5 with Ajay Devgn. The franchise has been one of the most successful Bollywood series. Since then, the audience has been waiting for some development on the same. And in a recent conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Shreyas Talpade reveals why Golmaal 5 is getting delayed.

Giving an update on Golmaal franchise, Shreyas shares, “I just hope ki agle saal aaye. Humein aisa lag raha hai ki abhi Singham Again ki shooting kar rahe hai Rohit. Uske baad I think he might start golmaal 5. (I just hope we announce Golmaal 5 next year. But I also think since Rohit Shetty is busy with Singham Again now, he will work on Golmaal 5 after it). We are also very excited as we also want to do the same fun again. Abhi 7 saal hogaye golmaal again ko and its been a while. Agar covid nahi hua hota toh hum thoda pehle aagaye hote. But uske wajah se shayad thoda delay ho raha hai. (It’s been 7 years now since the 4^th part released, If Covid-19 pandemic didn’t struck we would have arrived a bit early. So, I think the film also got delayed because of that). But yes I am also looking forward for golmaal 5.”

Talking about how he joined the franchise from second part, Shreyas shares, “Today I am a part of the Golmaal team which I wasn’t when the first part came. But as luck would have it things happened. I was called for it, loved it, and I became a part of it.”

On the work front, Shreyas is gearing up for Kartam Bhugtam. Directed by Soham Shah, the film is based on the concept of Karma. Apart from this, the actor will next be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency. Apart from this, he is also shooting for Welcome to the Jungle.
